I think it's very interesting to see how the animals seek to satisfy their needs for survival. In this case butterflies look for salt in the tears of turtles, in the sweat of people and clothing, in animal urine, etc. It captured my attention the way that turtles can be affected from butterflies, because they may obstruct their vision and they may become an easy prey. To finish is incredible how butterflies and bees do this due to lack of salt (sodium) in the region, and must find a way to get it.
This is very interesting because I didn’t know that butterflies drink turtle tears because the liquid drops contained salt so that’s why attracts butterflies. This causes very little problem to turtles because they are more vulnerable to there predators like cats. The lack of salt in the regions butterflies live has made them to develop strange behaviors. Butterflies also look for amino acids turtles contain.
