I think that the idea that Sweden has implemented of turning trash into power it is very good. Nowadays the trash we generate is a major cause of pollution causing the deterioration of the planet, for example plastic bags are producing harmful effects on the ocean and to the species. If countries find it to expensive to implement this method, they can find other ways to get rid of trash because is a problem that is increasing day by day and we need to find effective solutions like Montgomery County, Maryland, has a waste incineration plant. I think this article is very interesting as i didn´t know that trash can be turned into power.
Using trash to create energy is, in my opinion, a very intelligent way of helping the environment and getting a benefit. Many human activities that are done for our own benefit harm remarkably the environment. I think that with this method that Sweden has been using it is easier to get rid of the trash and prevent it form going to oceans or to any other place where it would harmful to many animals. Besides getting rid of the trash, energy is created, and nobody could afford to live without energy nowadays, therefore this method is a great way of keeping our environment safe and producing a basic need for us.
I think that this idea that Sweden has of using trash for the production of power in order to obtain electricity is wonderful. It's kind of funny to hear that they are importing trash to produce enough electricity or power to all citizens. In my opinion this idea should be used by all of the countries, it will provide energy, and also will help to prevent oceans for becoming full of trash.
After reading this, I realized we could learn something from Sweden when it comes to garbage. The concept of recycling is good, and the way Norway came up to them to help the environment and themselves was good as well. Here we can see that things that seem not useful (trash) can turn to things we need (energy). Very interesting information!!

Its amazing how Sweden always gets to be ahead in technology according to environmental issues. Personally I think that its a very good way to produce energy considering you can get rid of waste that is polluting and with this producing something we really need in a sustainable way, that in this case is energy. Even though it is a expensive way to make energy, i think it is worth it because by doing this as mentioned before you get rid of things we dont really want around.
